Spring's Lament
Take me away,
Into the deep,
Drag me down,
Where the Dead sleep,
In eternal rest,
And there do keep,
Me in your abode,
Until I erode,
Until the Shades,
Begin to corrode,
The recall of Sun,
Until all warmth,
Has withered, gone,
Left me bereft,
Trembling, alone,
Until in time,
I come to learn,
Never to yearn,
For the above,
Enchant me until,
My hands grow cold,
And my heart is sold,
And I come to love,
Madly, blindly,
All that you are,
Until your touch,
Sets me alight,
Until I lose,
All sense of sight,
Into decay,
Is made my bed,
Gently lay down,
My beguiled head,
And devour me with,
